Mindfulness Vlog – February 4th
Gratitude & Focus
- Grateful for finding the house key clicker—small things make life easier!
- Key goals for the day:
- Work on website updates
- Plan a keto-based meal plan
- Train with little brother at the gym
- Clean out the car
- Play guitar and read
Training & Fitness
- Took housemate’s brother to the gym—he’s on a fitness journey too.
- Had a solid duo session with little brother, learning a new rear delt exercise (cross-body pull-through).
- Tried a new cable row variation with guidance from little brother on form.
- Work reimburses up to $800 per year for gym expenses—awesome perk!
Daily Wins & Challenges
- Ran into D&D friends—talked about coordinating Japan travel dates.
- Accidentally deleted and re-uploaded a video—oops!
- Forgot chicken in the oven overnight… sniff test incoming.
Evening Reflection & Productivity
- Took an afternoon nap—first in months!
- Played guitar and ran errands, including paying for an elliptical machine.
- Finally washed the car (after procrastinating).
- Need to book a car service soon.
Level-Up System Progress
- Used ChatGPT to refine the XP-based goal system:
- XP rewards for achievements (e.g., 50km running = Rookie Runner, 100km = Trailblazer).
- Additional XP for challenges like 30 days alcohol-free or reading a book outside usual interests.
- Set experience-based rewards, like a Moreton Island trip or new guitar.
- Next challenge: Tracking progress efficiently (Garmin watch? Manual log?).
Health & Rest
- Started feeling sick—took the night off training.
- Pulled an all-nighter working on website formatting (bad idea while sick).
Lessons & Next Steps
- More balance needed—can’t push hard every day.
- Website work was satisfying—made goal-setting more engaging.
- Time to filter out goals that don’t fit into the XP system.
- Practice guitar with singing—struggling to sync both.
- Reminder: Book car service!
Final Thought
“You got this. You’re enough. Go crush some goals!”
