π Slow Start & Mindfulness Check-In
β° Time Check: 5:10 AM β It took me ages to get out of bed today. I only set one alarm for 4:20 AM and decided to skip my usual 3:15 AM backup alarm. I figured if I was that tired, I needed the extra sleep.
π― Mindfulness & Gratitude:
- π Grateful for: Fans β Seriously, I canβt sleep without one. I get way too hot without that constant breeze.
- π Compliment to Myself: Good on me for listening to my body and taking a rest day instead of running myself into the ground.
π₯ Takeaway: Sometimes, the best thing you can do is let yourself rest.
π Evening Run & New Personal Bests
π§οΈ Weather: Overcast but no rain. Decided to push myself and ended up setting two new personal bests:
- π 1 KM: 6 minutes and 10 seconds β Not my treadmill record, but still great for outdoor running.
- π 1 Mile: 10 minutes and 12 seconds β First time tracking my mile outdoors!
πͺ Biggest Win: Even after feeling sluggish all day, I went for the run and pushed through a calf cramp by jogging slower instead of stopping completely.
π₯ Takeaway: Progress isnβt always prettyβsometimes itβs about pushing through discomfort.
